The city's illustrious concert venue has hosted most of the best-known bands since the mid-1960's and thousands of others. It's prominence continues to this day. Live-music enthusiasts are well advised to check the schedule.
Shows sell out with regularity - you can almost always scalp tickets, but you'll typically pay extra. Your bargaining leverage increases after the main show starts, but you may miss it altogether.
The famous Fillmore posters are available (one per person) on exit of selected shows. Collectors can often obtain extras, cheaply or free.
