Iconic of San Francisco, the Lombard street hairpins are a quick hit of fun. If the weather is bad, or the location inconvenient - feel free to skip it. It's relatively close to the Maritime Museum and Aquatic park.
Little known fact: Phil Zimbardo (psychologist famous for the Stanford Prison Experiment) lives on this historic section of Lombard street - don't get caught peeping!
You might not be able to do this at home :)
