With a 360° views and a warmer-than-average reputation, Bernal puts the urban lowlands in their place :)
A strange microwave tower sits atop the peak, with otherwise beautiful trails circling it. An official off-leash locale for dogs, the park attracts many. For humans, Cortland or Mission streets provide the closest commercial comforts, depending on your location within the park.
The views can be especially amazing at night as Bernal is (frequently) less impacted by cold, wind and fog than other SF perches - Twin Peaks, Grandview Park, Telegraph Hill, etc.
