Sutro Project / Bay Bridge
No match for the Golden Gate Bridge, the Bay Bridge does provide a nice view coming into San Francisco ("on top"). The new eastern segment (Oakland <-> Treasure Island) opening in 2013 adds pedestrian and bicycle access, while its western counterpart remains cars-only into the foreseeable future.
